WELL Project

The mission of CCWT’s Work-based & Experiential Learning Lab (WELL) Project is to ensure that all students will have access to work-based learning experiences, the tools to optimize these experiences, and career development skills to effectively navigate their transition into the workplace.

We aim to design tools and resources to:

  • Teach critical career readiness skills
  • Prompt self-reflection to facilitate skill development
  • Develop and evaluate learning plans and task goals
  • Teach strategies for developing and sustaining effective supervision and mentoring relationships
  • Demystify common challenges to career readiness
  • Facilitate collaboration among primary stakeholders in WBL ecosystem: career service professionals and employers
  • Develop curriculum to support employers in designing and launching student internship programs

Aligned with CCWT’s mission, the WELL Project centers student voices and uses systematic literature reviews and findings as well as CCWT empirical data and Internship Scorecard framework to develop and evaluate objectives and activities.
