Maria Widmer was Ph.D. student in Educational Leadership & Policy Analysis and an Instructional Designer for the UW–Madison School of Education. Maria’s research focused on the intersections of equity, data, and innovation in higher education. She received a M.Ed. in Learning, Design, and Technology from Penn State University. As a student intern with CCWT, Maria worked on the EMPOWER project and studied skills-based hiring.
