Thomas Le is a counseling psychologist and assistant professor of Psychology at Bryn Mawr College. Within a liberation psychology and intersectional framework, the goal of their research is to understand both the individual and structural factors that promote mental wellbeing among marginalized communities, with an emphasis on Asian Americans and LGBTQ+ people of color. He has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles in journals such as Journal of Counseling Psychology, Sex Roles, Cultural Diversity and Ethnic Minority Psychology, Psychology of Sexual Orientation and Gender Diversity, and Asian American Journal of Psychology. He has received awards for his research and advocacy efforts from various divisions of the American Psychological Association, the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, and the Asian American Psychological Association. In addition to their research, teaching, and advocacy, they also maintain a small clinical caseload as a therapist in private practice.
